Just pictures

I've been quite busy this week with work, busy enough that I have my hours in for the week and don't have to show up tomorrow. So, I'm posting the backlog of pictures of Zephyr without any explanation or stories. Maybe later, I will add some text.

4th of July parade

For those of you who have heard me ramble about what a variety of vehicles are in the 4th of July parade, here is a small sample of pictures I took at this year's parade. The last picture was supposed to be a nice view of Zephyr watching a pair of draft horses, but as they approached, he scooted away to the right and then back along the side of my chair, so I hardly got any of him or the horses in the picture. We didn't get any pictures of Zephyr at the Pops orchestra concert because we forgot to bring a camera with us. As far back as we sat, you wouldn't have been able to tell what the event was anyhow. We could hear the music pretty clearly, and it was a good experience for Zephyr since we were in the back where all the kids were playing.

4 months old

At this point, we usually quit counting the weeks and count by the month instead. Zephyr turned 4 months on Sunday. He has reached an age of boundless energy. The other day, he ran circles around the house, barking at our other dog as he went by. After several minutes of that, he practically ran into the door and flopped on the floor, panting contentedly. He has definitely entered a fear stage and found the 4th of July fireworks a little intimi- dating. At the vet's office this morning, he did not want to get on the scale to be weighed, something he showed no concern about on previous visits. He was 30 pounds, and he got the last of his puppy boosters today.
