10 months old

Zephyr is now 10 months old. Despite today being a Friday, he has been well- behaved today. He is showing progress in a lot of areas, but this can also be a frustrating age when the world is just too interesting and distracting to bother with laying quietly or walking nicely.

Monkey See, Monkey Do

A former co-worker stopped in today with her daughter, about 2 or 3 years old. They came over to see Zephyr, and Zephyr was quite excited. The girl came up and petted him and he licked her face and she backed up, so I held him still, and he whined. The girl made the same kind of whining sounds. Then Zephyr shook, and the girl shook herself all over. Eventually Zephyr rolled over on his back and wiggled around. So, the girl got on the floor and wiggled around next to him. Once the girl was on the floor, I had to hold Zephyr back from playing with her, so I didn't get a picture. You'll just have to imagine the puppy and the girl side by side on their backs and wiggling all over and snorting.

Christmas Day Pictures

These pictures are of Zephyr at my in-laws' house for Christmas Day. The first has Zephyr checking out the fish tank. The second is Zephyr in the flurry of everyone opening presents. The third is before we got into the presents. The last two are Zephyr behaving nicely around our baby nephew who is a month older than Zephyr.
